Andrea Samantha on Being a Creative and a Problem Solver

Getting the hang of challenges in your life is no easy task. It requires an unwavering conviction that everything will eventually fall into place. Yet, at the same time, you might be required to take corrective actions, holding you back from pushing forward.

A dedicated coach, Andrea Samantha, aims to train young people to become successful versions of themselves. Quitting has never been an option for her, and doesn’t want others to consider it at all. Only through consistency, she believes, can one inch closer to their destination.

Her journey, so far, is a marker of her willpower and utmost dedication to achieving her dreams. Growing up in Ohio, Andrea didn’t lead a life of luxury. From a very young age, she learned how to be diligent which soon paid off later in her career. She adds: “I grew up in a conservative family in Ohio. My mom stayed at home with me and my sister and my dad worked 9-5. He taught us work ethic and that nothing is handed to us. We didn’t have the best relationship, because I am independent and they were more traditional.”

Andrea’s career took off when she started working as a hair stylist at an Aveda Salon. As her clientele grew, so did her interest in making as many sales as possible. She soon set up her first enterprise from where things took a positive turn for her. “Being a hairstylist I was commission based, so I’ve always had to be on my game to grow my clientele and be the base to maintain them. I’m a creative so I’ve dabbled on Etsy and had my own wedding hair and makeup business before starting MONAT in direct sales.”

There were only victories in store for Andrea when she joined MONAT. During her four years there, she successfully earned one million in commissions which acquired her a top rank in the company. Later, upon realizing she wanted to extend her knowledge to benefit others, Andrea entered the coaching business to guide young individuals to reach their goals. She now trains her team of thousands to become top sales performers and uses her social media to promote her brand.

Intelligent and multi-talented, Andrea hopes to serve as an inspiration for young people to reach for their potential. Moreover, she is also a firm believer that women are capable of having whatever they want and should always prioritise their well-being. “Your past doesn’t define you and mental health is something everyone struggles with and should be a priority when working and maintaining relationships in a healthy way.”
