Julie and Zach Ruhl Share How They Met and Built their Multimedia Content Brand – Ruhls of the Road

If one were to ask, “What are the most beautiful things in the world?” We would answer not with a lake, mountain, or rainforest but with the memories we made when traveling with our loved ones. Traveling inspires us to see life differently, gives us new perspectives on ourselves and others, and allows us to live on our own terms. Zach and Julie Ruhl are two such travelers who’ve traveled extensively in the past few years with their daughter Indie, making countless memories and living life to its fullest. 

Zach and Julie met after college through their mutual friends. They were intrigued by each other’s passion for traveling and decided to start a life together on the road. They explored the US, Canada, and New Zealand in their campervan converted into a home. To afford their nomadic lifestyle, they would keep themselves on a strict budget and work on their blog and social media channels, creating fun and inspirational content for other travel buffs. 

Zach and Julie Ruhl started Ruhls of the Road after deciding to concentrate on building an online brand that would help them stay financially stable, so they could travel and work on their careers as content creators side by side. 

Zach and Julie Ruhl are a bit too familiar with the notorious statement, “You can’t have it all,” as they planned to raise their own kids one day. They loved traveling but feared that they would have to give up their passion in order to have a family. Today, Zach, Julie, and Indie (aged two) are always on the road, successfully running a blog that shows people how to live the nomadic life on a budget while not missing out on other essential things, i.e., family. “Additionally, we’ve bought three rental properties with money we’ve earned in that time and created a life where we can travel the world while not giving up our career and lifestyle goals,” adds Zach. 

In the future, Zach and Julie hope to expand their family, travel to unknown lands, and generate more audience on their website and social media platforms. Through their content, they want to build more traffic, YouTube viewership, and Instagram following to generate more income and sponsorships to keep their traveling dreams alive.
