While it’s easier to settle for mediocrity, those passionate about what they do prefer the satisfaction of offering uniqueness over the convenience of merely doing something. Samantha Jones is a 26-year-old passionate fashion designer who is the founder of the luxury sustainable swimwear brand Beau Swim. The company was launched in 2021 and has garnered immense admiration in the short span of a year.
Samantha grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, where she had a great childhood. Her parents encouraged Samantha and her sister to follow their hearts. So Samantha recognized her interest in fashion early on and dreamed about having a clothing brand. Her dream seemed to be achievable when she developed the mindset of an entrepreneur through education. She was fortunate to attend a high school that catered to her interests as a child and later decided to fly across the country to Los Angeles to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in DTLA.
Crediting her drive to create a lifestyle where she can make a living out of doing what she loves for her remarkable success, Samantha recalls her journey of overcoming one challenge after another while refusing to give up on her dreams. She shares that an entrepreneur must learn to play many roles and be committed to their goals despite the challenges.
Beau Swim is a men’s and women’s sustainable swimwear company. Samantha explains that what separates her company from the competition is that it is not only a sustainable swimwear brand but also offers luxury to the customers. Their fabrics are imported from the best factory in Italy and shipped to the Beau Swim factory in Bali. They use Eco dyes on the printed material and ECONYL, a fabric made from ocean waste/plastic and is long-lasting, stretchiest, softest, and of the highest quality.
Moreover, the solar company takes customer service to another level, and their prices are also not too high. Samantha is proud of having established Beau Swim as a company that makes shopping more accessible and affordable. They also donate a portion of the proceeds to the R.O.L.E Foundation, which educates companies and people on being more sustainable in their every day and work lives. A part of that money also goes towards beach clean-ups.
Attributing her remarkable success to her time management skills and perseverance, Samantha has raised the bar for the competition as Beau Swim continues to make ripples of inspiration in the fashion industry. The sustainable luxury swimwear brand has graced the ramps at various iconic events, including the Miami Swim Week 2021 and Monaco Swim Week 2022, and will participate in the Miami Swim Week 2022 this July to showcase their highly anticipated Laguna Collection.
The fantastic reviews and love from critics and customers alike have encouraged Samantha to globally expand the company and venture into sleep/loungewear, body oils, and sunscreens. Head out to the Beau Swim website to learn more.
