Justin Alphabet Shares His Experience of How Being a Perfectionist Can Sometimes Lead to Failure

Perfectionism is not necessarily a bad trait, but when it comes to running a business, you must prepare yourself to face risks and uncertainties. Starting a business and running it successfully becomes challenging along the way, but the founders must be consistent and possess the willpower to overcome any predicament they face. Justin Alphabet, a business owner, and actor shares his experience of failure when he started a car cleaning business as a teenager.

Justin has been mindful and a perfectionist since childhood, along with possessing the extraordinary ability to always come up with innovative ideas. In his early teens, Justin intended to take charge of running the household by starting a cleaning business. However, that venture proved to be fruitless. Keeping that experience of failure in mind, Justin couldn’t resist evaluating the reason for his collapse. It was due to the time he wasted chasing perfection.

Expecting a business to reach great peaks of success initially is equivalent to shooting yourself in the foot. “Starting a business is like growing a plant; you have to know how to nourish it right and give it the right ingredients to help it grow,” says Justin. He further adds that people must take into consideration what other people want to see, and how you bring it in front of them is another crucial factor. In addition, he advises seeing from a third person’s perspective.

Justin’s perfectionist personality strived for flawlessness and often accomplished this through fixating on imperfections, working hard in his business, and being critical towards himself. After learning a positive lesson from his failure, Justin switched his field and polished his acting skills by pursuing it as a career. He has created himself as an actor on TV shows, movies, large-scale commercials, and productions such as Disney, Netflix, YouTube, etc.

No matter what field you choose, being consistent is the key to success. When you keep going, even when it is hard, you can achieve anything you want in your life. Justin believes in work ethic, which is one of the most important things to him. Spreading positivity and laughter globally, Justin Alphabet is influencing the lives of hundreds of people with his inspirational content on his official Instagram page.
