Rui says that some of the many causes of work-related stress include long hours, heavy workload, job insecurity, and conflicts with co-workers or bosses. He also shared the symptoms that include a drop in work performance, depression, anxiety, and sleeping difficulties. A person needs to recognize stress as a significant health and safety issue.

Rui da Silva shares that humans aren’t meant to operate continuously like computers, at high speed for a long time. They aren’t designed to be rhythmic and need to renew energy levels daily.
