From Corporate World to Social Media Stardom: How Kennedy Pinheiro Bezerra’s Personality Grew as an Influencer

For undiscovered talent, social media has done its part to pave the path to stardom. With their expertise in content creation, influencers are now making dozens of dollars and reaching the peak of success. Kennedy Pinheiro Bezerra, a content creator, is a man after his own heart and one of the many social media stars breaking preconceptions with his unique employment choices.

Kennedy was born and raised by a single working mother in the Brazilian suburbs. He had a simple upbringing and didn’t get to see much of life outside of the suburbs. At age 18, he enrolled in Universidade de Fortaleza for the Master of Business Administration program while also assisting his mother in running her company, New Waike Fashion Jeans. A few years later, they successfully created Interrog Jeans as a joint venture, with him serving as a co-owner.

Kennedy has always enjoyed rocking the boat in the corporate world and felt the need to move abroad to learn new lifestyle and professional skills after running his own business for five years. He, in the span of a brief moment, had relocated to Vancouver, Canada. Kennedy spent around four years there and utilized that time to acquire two diplomas: one in project management and another in international business administration. He worked as an entry-level food expeditor, waiter, store employee, and brand ambassador. Which, in his judgment, professionally shaped his talents, but he didn’t believe his personality was the proper fit for it.

He decided to recalculate his path after considering his passions, needs, and motives. He came to the conclusion that he needed to change his perspective about working in a corporate environment and chose to be self-employed by becoming an influencer on Instagram and TikTok.

Kennedy, who had previously shied away from social media work due to the extensive exposure and potential for privacy invasion, urged himself to forge forward and do what felt right. He started his Instagram account in March 2022, and since then, he has effectively grown his following organically from 4k followers to 72k. As a result, he was able to collaborate with some of the most well-known companies in North America, including Hudson Bay, Nordstrom, Disney, Bailey Nelson, Indochino, etc.

Kennedy is pleased with his current position and how he was able to establish himself financially on his own in an entirely different country. His path, therefore, teaches us to face our fears and follow our passions in order to achieve our dreams.
