Dr. Brenda Joseph-Juste Preserved As an Educationist after Struggling In Her Early Academic Years

Only some can testify that they are determined to work hard even when things don’t go their way. There’s one specific individual who not only stood tall in the face of adversity but defeated it with her resilience and strength — Dr. Brenda Joseph-Juste, an experienced reading and math doctor, exemplifies perseverance and dedication for the masses.

Dr. Juste, founder of Meagan’s Academic Tutorial Center, was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Raised by non-English-speaking parents who were unable to assist their daughter in her schoolwork, Dr. Juste faced numerous challenges when it came to excelling in academics as a child. She had a hard time with reading, writing, and math, which eventually led her to fail grades and suffer from student anxiety. However, Dr. Juste was not one to back away, and she chose to fight back. Instead of giving up or becoming discouraged, she decided to take action and reach out to her community and neighbors for help.

After two years of hard work, dedication, and determination, she excelled in school and was placed in gifted classes. This experience motivated her to create Meagan’s Academic Tutorial Center and assist other students experiencing similar difficulties.

The center offers many services, including a wide variety of programs and courses, including STEM, robotics, coding, and one-on-one tutoring. Dr. Juste has also published several works, such as her dissertation titled “An Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Houghton Mifflin Reading Achievement of Third-Grade Students” in July 2008. She hopes this center will serve students, help them improve their reading and writing skills, and equip them with the skills to be college-ready and achieve their academic goals.

Dr. Juste’s goal is to expand the tutorial center by opening ten more locations and establishing Meagan’s Academic School of Excellence – an institute providing students with the highest quality education and developing their academic potential.

Dr. Juste inspires us all with her story of resilience and dedication to helping others succeed in academia. She accomplished great success through her perseverance and hard work, serving as an example of what is possible when one never gives up. Her experience demonstrates that if you have faith in yourself and keep going, nothing is insurmountable, no matter how challenging the journey is.
